Keep the registry free

The registry takes no money. From anyone. No ads, no donations, no sponsorships, no paywalls — a bribe registry that sells attention or access would be a contradiction. Server, moderation, and legal costs are paid out of the operator's own pocket, as a public utility.

So how do I support it? The support it needs costs nothing:

File your report. One honest report is worth more than any money — the data is the mission.
Tell one person who is about to visit an RTO, a sub-registrar, or a police station about Know before you go.
Build with the open data — journalism, research, civic tools. Attribution is the only price.
Flag what's wrong. If you see anything that identifies a person, report it — protecting the covenant is protecting the registry.
