About Ramp

Ramp is building the smart infrastructure for finance teams, embedded in the transaction flow of every dollar a business spends. We automate how over $200B in annualized spend flows in and out of 70,000+ companies: authorizing payments, flagging risk, categorizing spend, and closing books.

The problems are high-stakes, data-dense, and unforgiving.

We hire people with high agency and high urgency. We look for slope over intercept. We care less about where you trained and more about what you’ve built. At Ramp, everyone is a builder who owns problems end to end and makes consequential decisions that shape the outcome.

The median Ramp customer saves 5% and grows revenue 16% in their first year – far in excess of businesses operating without Ramp. We believe every ambitious company deserves the same.

If you want to build systems that directly shape how companies move and manage billions, Ramp is the place to do it.

About the Role

Ramp is in a critical phase of growth. We grew immensely last year and are building out a talented business systems team to ensure we maintain this trajectory for years to come. You’ll work directly with our Sales, Account Management, Partnerships, and Product teams to execute mission-critical business systems projects across the organization. This is a key role where you will be uniquely positioned to impact the full picture of Ramp’s growth efforts through systems development.

What You’ll Do

  • Own top of funnel GTM systems: the roadmap, the architecture decisions inside them, and their operational health

  • Run HubSpot as a system rather than a tool: workflows, lists, forms, properties, lifecycle stages, campaign structure, and the permissions and naming conventions that keep it from sprawling

  • Keep HubSpot and Salesforce in agreement and the lists built off them clean: field mappings, inclusion lists, sync error triage and dedupe rules, then the ICP segmentation, suppression logic, enrichment, and email validation that stand between a Growth list and a send

  • Build and deploy the Salesforce automation behind it: record-triggered and screen flows, validation rules, custom objects and fields, permission sets, and approvals

  • Own the path from form fill to booked meeting: capture, enrichment, dedupe, routing, sequence enrollment, and speed to lead, and hold the operational health of every hop in that chain

  • Prioritize incoming requests against ROI. Make the call on what gets built, what gets deferred, and what gets declined, and show the numbers behind it

  • Drive cross-functional alignment on scope, sequencing, and tradeoffs and carry it through to closure without a manager in the room

What You’ll Need

  • 5+ years in business systems, marketing operations, or revenue operations at a fast-paced company

  • Deep hands-on HubSpot experience: workflows built and debugged, list, form, and property architecture you designed rather than inherited, and a clear view of how an instance degrades when nobody governs it

  • Salesforce Admin certification or equivalent hands-on experience, including non-trivial flows built and debugged when they broke, and a clear view of why declarative automation goes wrong at scale

  • Funnel definitions owned in practice: lead source, campaign membership, UTM capture, and the MQL to SQL handoff, with attribution reporting the business actually trusts

  • A habit of framing problems rather than waiting for a spec: ambiguous requests taken on, decided, and shipped

  • You get in the weeds and build: elegant and scalable solutions, with AI leaned on to automate the work wherever it holds up

  • You dissect a problem, drive it to completion with little supervision, and can explain the tradeoffs to any audience

Nice to Have

  • Marketing systems depth beyond the CRM: paid media and ad platform integrations, lifecycle email programs, landing page and form tooling, plus deliverability and list hygiene at sending volume

  • Cross-functional program management across engineering, sales and finance stakeholders

  • A product mindset toward internal tooling: treating stakeholders as users, shipping in phases and measuring adoption after launch

  • Snowflake, Looker or similar BI and warehouse tooling

  • Working knowledge of Apex or Lightning Web Components, enough to recognize when declarative is the wrong answer

  • Linear or similar project management software
